The DC Clean Rivers Project is DC Water's ongoing, $2.6 billion stormwater management effort intended to reduce the release of untreated stormwater and sewage into DC's waterways. The project consists of a network of deep tunnels, diversion facilities, and green infrastructure to mitigate this unwanted flow by up to 98%.

Since 2015, Hackreative has developed a myriad of creative services on this project to facilitate the public's awareness of the extensive construction needed to execute the project.
